TRAINING STANDARDS
The “Standards for Training and Accreditation of Cognitive and/or Behavior Therapy” that you find here were developed in order to provide a foundation for CBT training across Europe. The standards recognize that there is a huge variation between European Countries with regard to regulations concerning psychotherapy (e.g. professions that are allowed to deliver psychotherapy, extent of training etc.). The training standard outlines main elements of CBT training that are considered necessary (e.g. basic profession, amount of cbt-related theoretical and skills training, supervised clinical practice etc.).
